THE SITE
The site's name is The Postcard. It was created in July of 2007, and opened on July 24th 2007. The site opened with the purpose of helping other webdesigners to make their site the best they can be.
As probably 70% of the people who read this, I started of with piczo. Having a total of 3 or 4 sites, lost count.. I then moved on to freewebs, where I finally started to get the hang of "real" html coding. So after a while I grew tired, and I finally got up the courage to ask my parents for my own domain name. And yeah, that was easy, really I asked once and the said yes! So here I am, growing old with The-Postcard.
THE NAME
So why this name, why The Postcard. Well it's a fairly short story -> I love to travel -> When you travel you send postcards -> And through this journey I choose to send my postcard here, so that I can update my friends -> Hence The Postcard. Why .org? Well .com and .net was taken, so it was a simple choice!
