THE GIRL
The girls name is Mona. She is a typical Norwegian teenager with a little edge. She was born on March 30th 1990, which presently makes her 17 years old. She was born isn Oslo, the capital of Norway. But she considers Haugesund to be her hometown. Her friends and family means everything to her, she could not imagine her life without them..!
Other than living in Haugesund and Oslo, she has also lived a year and a half in Plano, TX. Which is a town located righ outside of Dallas, Texas, USA. During her time there she made some awesome friends, some of whom she still has contact with, and some whom have been lost with time..
She loves travelling, and have currently been to the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, Morocco, Bahamas and the United States of America.
Another thing that is close to her heart is acting. She is a very active amateur actress in the local theatre group for youths in Haugesund called "Haugesunds Barne og Ungdomsteater." She has been a member since she was 4 or 5 years, which adds up to a total of 12 or 13 years. The characters she has portraid go from a to z (or in Norwegian å): She has been a dancing tree in Snow White, A Magician, Mrs. Clause, Frosty the Snowman, Marie Therese (a very "gossipy" cleaning lady with horrible stories of torture and death)... Oh, yes.. The list goes on and on.
She is currently attending the IB Diploma Programme at Vardafjell VGS. For you who don't know what that is. It is a course where you focus on 6 subjects: I've chosen Norwegian, English, History, Biology, Chemistry and Math. The difference from a normal course is that in the IB course you have all your subjects in English, and instead of plain theory we focus more on the how and why's of the different things we learn about.
